TekamoHD
Designing the brand, products,
and digital experience behind
a mechanic-first ecosystem.
TekamoHD is a heavy-duty mechanic network and industry community connecting mechanics, fleet owners, OEMs, and industry partners through services, media, products, and technology.
I’ve worked with the organization since 2019, staying part of the team as it grew from a smaller, more locally focused brand into a broader international ecosystem.
My work has expanded with it — from website and brand design to physical product direction, packaging, marketing, and now operational software.
Role
Product Designer · Brand Designer
Scope
Website UX/UI · Brand Design · Product Branding · Packaging · Landing Pages · Social Media · Investor Pitch · Print · Web App
When I joined TekamoHD in 2019, the company was operating at a much smaller scale.
I redesigned the website that year, then revisited the experience again in 2024 as its audience, services, products, and international presence continued to grow.
My role evolved alongside the business, moving beyond the website into the wider experience surrounding the brand.
TekamoHD and FortisHD are closely connected sister brands within the same broader ecosystem. They share a connected visual language and work together across product, marketing, and commerce while serving different roles.
TekamoHD is centered around the mechanic community, services, media, and product identity, while FortisHD supports the e-commerce and distribution side of the growing product business.

The Evolution
2019
Website redesign
2024
Website redesigned again as the brand, services, audience, and international presence evolved
Ongoing
Branding, physical products, packaging, social media, landing pages, campaigns, brochures, print, investor material, and product launches
In Progress
Operational web app for mechanic job assignment and status management
The scope has continued to grow with the business — from customer-facing design into the products, campaigns, and systems behind the organization.
The Challenge
How do you keep one brand coherent
when the business keeps becoming
more than one thing?
TekamoHD now spans several connected areas: mechanic services, community, media, physical products, industry partnerships, and technology.
The challenge has been to give each part enough room to work while keeping the experience recognizably TekamoHD.

What I Work On
My role spans both digital and physical customer experiences.
- Website UX/UI
- Landing pages
- Brand direction
- Social media
- Tool and product branding
- Product packaging
- Product launch campaigns
- Brochures and print
- Investor presentations
- Physical product concepts
- Ongoing web app design
Keep the mechanic at the center.
TekamoHD serves several audiences, but the mechanic community remains the core of the brand.
The website needed to speak to fleet owners, OEMs, manufacturers, and partners without losing the identity that originally built trust with working mechanics.
That mechanic-first perspective helps connect the service, content, community, and product sides of the business.

From Community to Product
Trust first. Products second.
TekamoHD spent years documenting the real work of heavy-duty mechanics and building an audience before launching its own tools.
The first product became proof that this trust could extend beyond content into physical products.
The broader tool collection now builds on the same relationship between the brand and the mechanics who actually use the products.
This changed the product-design problem.
It wasn’t about creating a new tool brand with no history behind it. It was about designing products that felt credible to an audience that already knew what TekamoHD stood for.
Growing With the Brand
From a smaller operation to an international audience.
One of the most valuable parts of the project has been staying involved as the scale of the organization changed.
Today, I’m designing within a much larger brand and product environment than the one I joined in 2019.

These are company and audience metrics rather than design-attribution metrics. They show the scale of the product and brand environment I now design within.
Design the product before it reaches the factory.
My involvement with TekamoHD tools begins before manufacturing.
I help define how the product should look and feel — from color combinations and finishes to branded surfaces, labels, packaging, and how individual parts visually work together.
This allows the brand experience to be considered as part of the physical product itself rather than applied after manufacturing.

Carry one identity across product, media, marketing, and commerce.
A TekamoHD product can move through many touchpoints:
- Product concept
- Packaging
- Launch campaign
- Social media
- Landing page
- FortisHD commerce experience
- Sales material
My role is to keep those experiences connected rather than treating every output as an isolated design.
Because TekamoHD and FortisHD are connected brands, their visual language also needs to work together across product launches, marketing, and e-commerce.
That direction extends into brochures, investor material, social content, landing pages, packaging, product pages, and other brand communication.

Designing Beyond the Screen
From brand to physical product.
TekamoHD is one of the projects where my role regularly crosses between digital and physical design.
A product can begin as a visual concept, continue through its color, finish, branding and packaging, launch through social media and landing pages, and finally appear inside the FortisHD commerce experience.
That continuity allows the product to feel like part of the same brand at every stage.

Move from customer-facing experiences into operational software.
In Progress
The next stage of my work with TekamoHD is an operational web application currently in progress.
The product is being designed to help manage the mechanic network more efficiently — supporting job assignment, mechanic workflows, job status, and visibility into work in progress.
This extends my role from designing what customers see to helping design how the organization operates behind the scenes.

Ongoing Partnership
Growing with the product.
My relationship with TekamoHD began with the website in 2019, but the scope has continued to expand as the business evolved.
The work now crosses website design, branding, physical products, packaging, marketing, international growth, and software.
Because FortisHD and TekamoHD are connected brands, my work across both has also evolved together — from digital experiences and marketing to physical products, commerce, and product launches.
The value of the relationship is not one finished deliverable.
It is being able to keep contributing as the companies change.
Client Feedback
“I've worked with Muhammad for a few years now, and I am 100% sure we'll continue working into our old age. He is a fantastic UI/UX designer. He has also incorporated AI to improve small elements that would have taken weeks to see in the past. This is his superpower right now. Happy to continue working with him.”
“I've been working with Muhammad for many years and will continue to do so in the future. Fantastic results all around!”
“An absolute gem and a pleasure to work with. Muhammad is very talented and is very important to our team. Will be hiring him again for sure.”
The Outcome
TekamoHD has become a long-term product and brand relationship spanning community, services, media, physical products, international growth, and software.
My role has expanded with the business — from redesigning the website to helping shape physical products before manufacturing and now working on the systems behind the mechanic network itself.
Working across both TekamoHD and FortisHD has also allowed me to help maintain a connected brand experience across community, product, marketing, and commerce.
From the brand people follow,
to the tools they use,
to the software that keeps the work moving.
